Wave Engulfer™ field test

A small Wave Engulfer™ prototype, the same size and materials as used in the lab tests, is here sitting on the seabed in the first field test. The plastic cylinders are filled with concrete and serve as ballast (the foam sheet makes it float otherwise). This test was a "dry run" without any measuring. The next step is a test where we measure the effect on the waves and on the sediment distribution, for which we will use an array of SediMeters™.
